Zion National Park – Up to the Narrows

May 2021

Ray and I finished off our time at Zion National Park by hiking up to the Temple of Sinawava. I was eager to check out the Narrows, the infamous gorge with high walls separated by the Virgin River. The narrows is the narrowest section of Zion Canyon, and the only way to travel through this area is to walk in the river. It sounded like fun! However, we could see that we were totally unprepared for the journey. We didn’t even have a stick to help support us through the waters. Duh!
