The Front Range Photography Meet Up group joined Jeff Johnson at Queen City Architectural Salvage in Denver to create art from the eclectic. Being an avid yard sale and thrift store visitor, I was instantly excited about all of the possibilities.
Upon entering the site, my eyes were immediately drawn to patina growing on the metal items strewn about the yard. The sun was still in it’s early stage which helped to put a spotlight on the colors and designs. I scoured the area shooting anything with rust on them. Here, the side of an old truck provided the perfect palette for my first fine art.
