My husband and I had heard about the Othello Tunnels during our stay in Calgary. Since it was on our way to Vancouver, we thought it would be fun to stop by and check it out. Once there, we saw a succession of tunnels and bridges that were cut through granite rocks. If you want to learn more about the history of the site, click here. The tunnels were deep enough that once inside, you needed a light to help you through it. One family had a clever idea of using red light to guide their way. It made for an appropriately creepy photo.
