On a Canyons tour road trip, I was immediately delighted after passing the visitor’s center at the Arches Canyon National Park. Upon first sight of the monoliths, I had to stop the car to get a close look at these strange slabs of rocks jutting out of the earth. Then, when I turned around and saw the “kings in court”, I was astonished. The light shined singularly on the figure standing solo. It was perfect, so I took the shot! Park Avenue and the Courthouse Towers was definitely my favorite part of the trip.
